Abstract: Intervention guidelines to face the financial crisis must consider technical, qualitative and ethical aspects.New rules have to generate effective accounting data, to develop transparent regulated markets, to make stress testing for a more complete risk analysis and to analyse the quality of assets in order to address the problem of toxic assets.As it concerns ethical aspects, banks have to construct an overall governance model and their decisions must to consider both the economicfinancial profiles and their ethical value.
