Eine invariante Bewertung wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Fachzeitschriften

Klaus Ritzberger

Perspektiven der Wirtschaftspolitik, 2008, vol. 9, issue 3, pages 267-285

Abstract: This article presents an update of the ranking of economics journals by the invariant method, as introduced byPalacio-Huerta and Volij (2004), with a broader sample of 261 journals. By comparison with the two other most prominent rankings it also proposes a list of "target journals," ranked according to their quality, as a standard for the field of economics. It appears that economics is still the dominant discipline, but finance has caught up. Copyright 2008 der Autor Journal compilation 2008, Verein für Socialpolitik und Blackwell Publishing Ltd.
