Abstract:
Seen from migrants’ point of view, migration exceeds in good parts, usually forgetting the negative aspects. At the state level, however, shows that migration and development are mutual relations. The main discrepancy developed between a developed North and a developing South does not profoundly change the economic state of origin country. No matter how important cash transfers would be, as long as they are not invested they can create inflation. If for some researchers emigration is an important source of development of the origin country, for others, it is insufficient to create the conditions for its real development, representing one of the elements that contribute to this process.
