Abstract:
This paper presents the large scale systems software packages SISCON used to assess optimal decisions of large scale industrial systems. In the beginning SISCON software packakges assess mathematical models developed based on experimental data, that have used LS models for linear and non-linear systems, and followed then by choosing the optimal decision through solving specific non-linear mathematical programming problems. Large scale systems generally represent a complex structure and a global approach that not allow a quick optimization computation. Due to this, the authors present and use a decentralized decision-make structure, having a well-defined distribution for functions supervising. After decomposing specific problems related to large scale systems, sub-problems are solved using standard optimization techniques. SISCON software packages give the opportunity to solve non-linear mathematical programming and to assess optimal decisions in controlling of large scale systems.
