Abstract: This paper contributes to the interest and concern about agricultural cooperatives in scientific and social terms by establishing and analysing the current state of research on participative enterprises in agriculture. Ultimately, our intention is to provide the scientific community with a summary of the work that has been carried out to date in this field. This is achieved by means of a bibliographic review covering ten years of the key documentary sources containing research on issues relating to agricultural cooperatives.
