Abstract:
On 29 June the Council of Ministers approved the Draft Bill on Work Integration Social Enterprises, which was in itself a great step forward, as it was the first time that so much had been done. The presentation of this Bill in Parliament is, in turn, the beginning of another long road to adapt work integration social enterprises to a legal framework that will enable them to work on more and better projects. This parliamentary procedure will help solve many questions that are posed by the Bill by accepting the amendments that are presented. This Law will lead to the regulation and standardization of the sector, although it will not bring with it markets or aid for firms, nor will it resolve many other matters that will have to be settled and defined. But this represents the beginning of another long road.
