El modelo de crecimiento hacia adentro: una interpretación del caso colombiano

Abstract: En este trabajo se realiza un análisis de los fundamentos teóricos de la CEPAL, haciendo énfasis en las ideas que sobre la industrialización diseñó la institución. Se estudia la forma en que se integran las economías latinoamericanas con el resto del mundo y la manera en que las han afectado las crisis de los años treinta y luego la de los ochenta. La investigación demuestra que la industrialización por sustitución de importaciones protegió a la economía colombiana de las oscilaciones de la economía mundial y atenuó los choques externos, de tal forma que los procesos de acumulación de capital fueron menos fluctuantes y de esta manera, se alcanzó un desarrollo industrial con una alta participación del capital extranjero. ____________ ABSTRACT: In this paper work an analysis of the Latin American Economic commission theoretical foundations is carried out. The way as the Latin America economy is integrated with the rest of the world is analysed in this article. Likewise, the way as the 1930’s and 1980’s crisis affected those economies. This research done demonstrates that industrialization through import substitution protected the Colombian economy from the World economical oscillations and attenuated the external crashes as well, so that the capital accumulation processes became less fluctuating. This was the way as an industrial development was reached with the foreign capital participation.
