Abstract: (VF)L’objectif de cette recherche est d’analyser les mécanismes de création de connaissances dans les partenariats d’impartition de compétences. La combinaison des approches théoriques de Kogut et Zander (1996, 2000) et de Nahapiet et Ghoshal (1998) fournit un cadre théorique qui permet de modéliser l’impact du capital social sur la création de connaissances dans les partenariats. La confrontation de ce modèle à sept cas d’impartition de compétences, dont les données ont été collectées de manière longitudinale, montre le caractère fondamental du capital social initial et de l’implication du preneur d’ordres lors de l’échange et de la combinaison de savoirs.(VA)This article sets out to analyze the knowledge creation process in competence impartition partnerships. The combined approaches of Kogut and Zander (1996, 2000) and Nahapiet and Ghoshal (1998) give rise to a theoretical framework which enables a modelling of the influence of social capital on the process of knowledge creation developed between partners. The confrontation of this model to seven cases of competence impartition, for which data were collected over time, highlights the significance of several factors, such as the initial social capital and the involvement of the subcontractor, for the exchange and combination of knowledge.
