Abstract:
The evolution of the economic environment has forced companies to rationalize their relations with their clients, suppliers and other associated firms. They are rapidly confronted with a lack of adaptation of their organizational structures and information flow with regard to the constraints generated by their inter-firms relations. From a study of literature and case studies carried out in the automobile sector, the author endeavours to show that organizational flexibility constitutes a method of adaptation of the company to the environment by reducing this asymmetry in inter and intrafirm relations.
