On the coefficient of variation of the - and -classes

Abstract: The coefficient of variation of a life distribution is no more than 1 if it belongs to the -class and no less than 1 if it belongs to the -class. However, there are nonexponential distributions in each of these classes that have coefficient of variation equal to 1.
