On Soros: Are Special Drawing Rights the Deus ex Machina of the World Economy?

Robert Hunter Wade

Challenge, 2002, vol. 45, issue 5, pages 112-124

Abstract: This is less a review of George Soros's new book than an answer to it and a call for further reform. The author believes Soros has some good ideas about how to expand the West's giving to poorer nations. He would like to see a more dramatic change in the international financial system to reduce its natural instability, however.
