Governance, Globalisation, and Human Development in Pakistan

Abstract: The controversy over the likely effects of globalisation on economic well-being is well-debated in the literature, yet the subject remains open to further examination. This study explores the link between globalisation and governance in Pakistan. The analysis concludes that the benefits of globalisation in terms of improved social indicators are seriously undermined due to poor governance. The study suggests policies for improving governance in the country.
