Abstract: The paper analyzes the features of the main exporting sectors and of the main sectors producing for the domestic market. The study used as tools for analysis the Input-Output tables for 105 sectors with statistical data for 1999, Michael Porter’s methodology for the analysis of global competitiveness of sectors and the clustering method for ordering and grouping the available information.
