Abstract: The present paper aims to achieve a comparative analysis of the development regions of Romania from the perspective of some relevant indicators from the economic and tourism field. The used statistical method is the one of variance analysis of some quantitative numeric variables, which, in our case, are the economic indicators of tourism, under the influence of a qualitative variable (the region), that permits the sharing of the population into categories. The study is achieved with the help of ANOVA process, using the SPSS program.
