A Path-Following Procedure to Find a Proper Equilibrium of Finite Games

Yoshitsugu Yamamoto

International Journal of Game Theory, 1993, vol. 22, issue 3, pages 249-59

Abstract: We propose a procedure to find a proper equilibrium of finite n-person games, which was introduced by Myerson as a refinement of perfect equilibrium. The procedure is a new variable dimension fixed point algorithm having [equation] directions in which it may leave the starting point, where m, is the number of the i-th player's pure strategies.
