Abstract:
There are first tackled the key-concepts of market economy, focused on the competitive management. There are also presented the approaching methods for the crisis management and the main imposed changes in the transition period to a functional free market economy. There are pinpointed the main strategical directions in order to fulfill the economical reform (profitability, rational resources co-ordination, management by results). The companies’ restructuring and profitability scenario is presented as an application, adapted to the specific of the transition period and economical reform in Romania.
