Norka Ruiz Bravo: Dr. Norka Ruiz Bravo is Special Advisor to the Director, National Institutes of Health. During her career at NIH, she has led the development and implementation of numerous research grant policies, including the Public Access Policy, which makes articles supported by NIH funds publicly available via the National Library of Medicine's PubMed Central website. A native of Peru, Dr. Ruiz Bravo has an abiding interest in policy and social issues.
