Abstract:
The transport sector gets its importance not just from its role in keeping an economy on the roll, but also from its function as a major employer. Transport businesses and manufacturers producing transport-related investment and consumer goods, consumables and services together employ some 370,000 workers and add 10.4 percent in value to the gross domestic product.
