Abstract: Adi Godrej, the chairman of Godrej group, has introduced an Economic Value Added (EVA) program to focus the company on long term shareholder value. The EVA program consists of three elements: EVA centers, EVA drivers and an EVA-based incentive program. The program has been successful in the initial years. The decision focus of the case is whether the program has indeed been successful in achieving its objectives in the long run.
