Abstract:
The book deals with outsourcing as one of the possible forms of company management ranging from the so-called hierarchy to the marketplace, outlines the features of these outsourcing forms and presents possible strategic assessments on which management decisions for entering the outsourcing activity or any other form of integration should be based. The topic of this book is outsourcing from the point of view of Slovenian companies, which mainly insource activities from large foreign enterprises, which were previously carried out in-house. Outsourcing can be an all-important strategic decision for the company and, also for the company which accepts orders from an outsourcing partner. The three research studies confirm that Slovenian companies often enter outsourcing relationships without sufficient strategic, long-term assessments and are thus faced with high risks.
