Abstract:
The paper analyses the different administration strategies adopted by Sadia and Perdigão throughout their existance. The text explains the theory behind the " model of the three circles ": management, property and family, and analyses the changin of hands from the owner to their sons and grandsons. Sadia finds itself nowadays at the stage of " consórcio de primos " when the 3rd generation took over the company in the 90's, while Perdigão was sold in the mid 90's when managed by the 2nd generation of the family's owner, due to administrative dificulties.
