Jose Quiroga, Jonathan Brooks and Olga Melyukhina

No 52068, Economic and Market Information from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

Abstract: In June 2005, OECD members met with senior government officials from Brazil to discuss Brazilian agricultural policies and future directions, as a part of a comprehensive agricultural policy review. Ongoing dialogue with Brazil on policy issues is important to fostering a better understanding of global challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Results of the review will be published by the OECD in 2005. This policy note provides a preview of key findings.
