Abstract: The accumulation of human capital plays a crucial role in growth theories and it is incorporated in the growth models in a very simplified way. Therefore it does not take into account the economic development process complexity. They consider that the amount of human capital is an important input in the technological change process, but a country's technology level is also important in the human capital accumulation process. Consequently the two variables are determined endogenously in a simultaneous equation system. In this work we propose an analysis of the human capital and technological changes in a simultaneous equation system by means of a cross-section analysis within a range of countries.
