The Policy of Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus

Abstract: ‘Regional cooperation in the South Caucasus’ is a policy, promoted by the Western states, with the United States (US) and the European Union (EU) as major proponents. The essence of the thesis will be unfolded in the Introduction. The latter will be delineated into the following parts: a) it will identify the research context and objective; b) it will resort to defining the key concepts in order to scrutinize their application to the South Caucasus; c) it will disclose how the policy has been implemented; and d) it will expose the structure of the research.
