Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to analyse the treatment of the German Question in the context of the trilateral approach outlined by the English School ofInternational Relations. I will firstly outline the basic tenets of Wight’s trilateral approach and then proceed to tackle the Rationalist, Realist and Revolutionist aspects of the treatment of the German Question between 1943-8 and determine how these influenced the outcome of the nascent post-war international order.
