Pablo Brañas-Garza () and Javier Rodero-Cosano

IESA Working Papers Series from Institute for Social Syudies of Andalusia - Higher Council for Scientific Research

Abstract: This paper explores the effect of neighborhood attributes on housing prices. We first analyze the price that subjects are willing to pay for these attributes and second, how this neighborhood variables are distributed within the city. Using both the demand and the spatial supply of these variables we evaluate the spatial evolution of housing prices. Results indicate that neighborhood amenities influence the distribution of hous-ing prices within the city.
