NAFTA and Mexican Agriculture: Promises and Realities Revisited

Abstract: During the first ten years of NAFTA, Mexican agriculture underwent a great change, which are not fully accordance with what economic theory had expected and are not all because of NAFTA as well. As to the reasons, Mexico's reform on agriculture policies took an important part.
