Service FDI: Development, Characteristics and Implications

Abstract: Recent years have witnessed FDI inclination to service, with changes in service FDI inward volume, internal structure and distribution among home and host countries. Non-equity arrangement becoming common is one of the main characteristics. The development of service FDI brings different impacts on host countries in areas such as service offers and export competitiveness.
