Abstract: The alternative view of democracy and political and social organisation made by Marx will be explained next, in order to finally reach the conclusion about whether his underestimation of the liberal and liberal democratic effort (to achieve realisation of freedom of criticism and action in spite of the existence of the centralised state power), is justified.
