Ein Pakt für oder gegen die Forschung? Zur aktuellen Veränderung der französischen Wissenschaftslandschaft

Abstract: Seit dem Jahre 2005 macht die französische Wissenschaftslandschaft vielfältige Veränderungen durch: Neue Agenturen der Forschungssteuerung, -finanzierung und -evaluierung wurden geschaffen, die bereits bestehende Institutionen und Strukturen unter Druck setzen. Was sind die Ursachen dieser Veränderungen? Wer sind die treibenden Kräfte, wer ihre Gegner? Welche Ziele verfolgen ihre Protagonisten, wogegen wehren sich ihre Kritiker? Um diese Fragen zu beantworten, hat die Autorin Interviews mit französischen ForscherInnen, mit Vertretern der Forschungsadministration und Gewerkschaftern geführt. Die vorliegende Studie ist insofern der Versuch einer Rekonstruktion der aktuellen Umgestaltung der französischen Wissenschaftslandschaft aus der Perspektive teilnehmender Akteure. -- Since 2005 the French scientific landscape has undergone manifold changes: New agencies of governance, financing and evaluation of research have been founded, which set existing institutions and structures under pressure. What are the causes of these changes? Who are the driving forces, who the opponents? Which are the aims of these reforms, and what are the main points of criticism of them? To answer these questions the authoress has interviewed French researchers as well as representatives of the administration of research and of trade unions. The present study attempts to reconstruct the actual changes of the French scientific landscape out of the perspective of participating actors.
