Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: This package contains four programs, and their associated help files: array.ado, aelem.ado, assign.ado, and ido.ado. The first is used to define arrays of variables, the second provides access to particular array elements (i.e., variables), the third assigns values to array elements, and the fourth provides a simple looping construct to specify array elements in a systematic manner. This provides the Stata programmer with most of the capabilities of SAS arrays.
