Abstract:
These are routines to read and write simple versions of STATA dictionary files. For reading, the simple form basically allows free form data that is to be stored in a real matrix. Can write the same form. Simple names will be supplied on demand. More specifics about what readDct can read are provided in the documentation of that routine. The key routines are: readDct(fname), writeDct(fname, data, names, labels, supplyNames, maxCols); also of interest are: writeDctHead(), writeDctBody()
