A Partition of a Two‐Factor Interaction, with an Agricultural Example

Abstract:
A possible method of partitioning the sum of squares due to the interaction of two factors is presented in the situation where each factor has p levels and there is a one‐to‐one correspondence between the levels of the two factors. This generalizes a partition given by Vyvyan (1955) for a 3 × 3 table.
