Abstract: This study explored the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and the administrative performance of private school principals in the City of Meycauayan, Bulacan. Recognizing the increasingly complex demands on school leaders, especially in private education settings where expectations from stakeholders are multifaceted, the study aimed to determine how principals’ emotional competencies influenced their effectiveness in managing schools. Emotional intelligence, defined through Goleman’s framework, encompasses self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, which are essential traits in fostering a positive and productive school environment.
