Abstract:
This study connects ethical leadership and green management to unlock the knowledge behind sustainability success, investigating the impact of environmental management and ethical leadership on the green performance of firms, both directly and indirectly, through the mediating role of green knowledge sharing, providing a framework for understanding how these factors interplay to drive sustainability within organizations. Data were collected from a sample of 207 wineries, and their analysis was carried out using the PLS‐SEM technique. The findings show that environmental management and ethical leadership positively and significantly influence green performance and that green knowledge sharing has a mediating role in these relationships. It is concluded that firms should adopt a holistic approach to sustainability, integrating environmental management practices and ethical leadership with effective knowledge sharing mechanisms to reduce the environmental impact of business activities on the natural environment. This research has significant theoretical, managerial, and policy implications.
