Abstract: With the intensification of global climate change and rising environmental awareness, ecological issues have become a global focus, posing new challenges and opportunities for cultivating sports basketball professionals. Traditional talent cultivation models in this field often overlook the role of ecological factors, resulting in problems like resource waste and environmental pollution during the cultivation process. These issues not only impede the sustainable development of sports basketball education but also restrict the quality of talent cultivation. Given that sports basketball, as a widely popular sport, plays a significant role in driving the sports industry through professional talent development, this article explores a new model for cultivating sports basketball professionals based on ecological environment impacts. By deeply analyzing the mechanism through which ecological factors influence talent cultivation, it aims to construct a model that adheres to the laws of sports basketball education while fully incorporating ecological considerations.
