Abstract: Abstract In Japan, traditional practices such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, music, and martial arts have been disrupted or moved online due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. These activities, which are typically taught in person, have been impacted by the shift to online training. This paper aims to explore the advantages and disadvantages of online training in these fields. To achieve this, an online questionnaire survey was conducted. The following sections present the results of the survey, highlighting the current situation and challenges of online practice.
