Biofuels: environmental effects and perspectives with regard to the next WTO talks (in Dutch)

Martin M.G. Fase () and C.K. Folkertsma

WO Research Memoranda (discontinued) from Netherlands Central Bank, Research Department

Abstract: This report described the production of bio-ethanol, its environmental properties and commercial perspectives. Finally, the justifications of and possibilities for government intervention are discussed which intend to stimulate the substitution of fossiel with renewable fuels. The importance of the next WTO talks for the future of bioethanol is explicitly taken into account.
