Auswirkungen des gesetzlichen Mindestlohns auf die Beschäftigungssituation von Geflüchteten: Stand der Forschung, methodische Ansätze und Erschließung von Datenquellen

Clemens Ohlert and Oliver Bruttel

No 201807_de, FDZ Methodenreport from Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB), Nürnberg [Institute for Employment Research, Nuremberg, Germany]

Abstract: "This report discusses current and future opportunities to evaluate effects of the general minimum wage on employment chances of refugees. For this purpose, the recent developments of refugees' immigration and labour market integration in Germany are summarized. It is then explored whether available datasets on refugees are suitable to evaluate minimum wage effects, considering different methodological approaches. We conclude that an evaluation of minimum wage effects on refugees can currently hardly be performed adequately." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
