Abstract:
Say's papers distinguish themselves by the big interest which it carries in the moral consequences of the economic behavior. The law of outlets structures vast parts of the Treaty. This note shows that while criticizing Smith Say formulates what is going to become the law of outlets. The process of production - distribution is in last analysis for Say a mutual exchange of productive services: " the cost of products is other than the value of the productive services consumed in the production and their value is nothing else that the value of the produced goods " by these same services. The real engine of the production is that of the unlimited needs, in front of means of production existing in limited quantity. The Economists seized this idea and made(did) one of the fundamental principles of their doctrine of it. The exchange of two products is for the fact the exchange of their productive services; the wanted and offered quantities are so in last analysis, that quantities of productive services ". For Say, the first one and the last term of the exchange, they are products, and not the currency. The purpose of the production is the satisfacti one of the needs, the consumption. Say pleads also for a policy of encouragement of the work which includes even governmental programs of activity to fight against the unemployment because of the mechanization.
