Abstract:
Territory attractivity is more and more evaluated with environmental criterion. This paper proposes a methodology that allows to compare pollutants emissions and consumptions related to urban trips between four French urban area. The goal is in particular to connect in a quantitative way mobility practices which are different between agglomerations, with CO2 emissions by inhabitants and by km. Four DEED (Diagnostics Energie Environnements Déplacements) are calculated with mobility data from four household survey trips which describes mobility of more than 60 000 dwellers inquired on their trip made the day before. The results suggest that it is necessary to take into account simultaneously differences in emissions between urban area but also differences inside them.
