Abstract:
The sociological but also economic writings of Schumpeter are crossed by the idea of social sciences unified, based on an enlargement of analysis of the phenomenon of economic development in a more total process of social change. The economic sociology, defined as theory of institutions, is according to Schumpeter method to arrest such process. This broader perspective participates, according to the author, in the development of economic theory. This article shows how such perspective allows the deepening of the theory of innovation, by inscribing the analysis of the businessman particularly in a more general analysis of social leading role.
