Working Papers from HAL

Abstract: We study the pluralism of the scientific knowledge. Starting with the mathematical examples of non-standard analysis and the Edo period in Japan (Sangaku) we analyse the modelization as a representation and interpretation of the context of the action of an economic agent. We attempt to deepen the reflection on power and weakness of the monism. We emphasize what we call the analytic superiority prejudice as the main source of confusion between pluralism and relativism. Eventually we analyse the phenomenon of the hump of Jules Dupuit as a result of any process of economization, especially in the domain of knowledge.
