Measuring the Job Satisfaction Level of the Academic Staffin Bahawalpur Colleges

Abstract: This purpose of this study is to inspect job satisfaction level of academic staffin Bahawalpur. Important factors that have an impact on job satisfaction level are work itself, pay, promotion opportunities, working conditions, job security and coworkers. A sample of 108 teachers is selected by stratified random sampling from the five Government Colleges of Bahawalpur. Simple percentages indicate that academic staff of the colleges is more satisfied with the work itself, pay, working conditions, job security and coworkers and less satisfied with the promotion opportunities.
