Abstract:
The aim of this study was to assess by a quantitative approach the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy in reducing the emigration and poverty in Romanian rural areas since 2007 to 2015 using the dataset published by the European Union in the FADN annual survey. In this research it has used the multiple regression model and the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling. Findings have pointed out as the dependent variable people at risk of poverty correlates indirectly to the independent variable financial subsidies allocated in promoting the rural development and diversification and directly to the variable unemployed people.
