Abstract: Although having approaches in neo-classical theory, the economic understanding of continuing education remains to be consolidated. Training is a co-production service characterized by singularities defined by uncertainty, multidimensionality and incommensurability. A buyer uses judgment devices to identify what will be the good training for her or for him. As a result, competition is not driven by prices but by the singularities identified by the good, the successful and the beautiful. This article thus demonstrates the interest of the economic theory of singularities in thinking of the trade layouts of training.
