Abstract:
Latent profile analysis provides a nuanced view of groups within a broader homogeneous population. This allows the possibility of identifying sub-groups in the sample beyond an average score. In this article, I report results from latent profile analysis based on the importance placed on family, friends, work, and religion of participants from six countries using the World Values Survey dataset. I also report descriptive means from 60 countries.
