CSR – INSTRUMENT OF DEFENCE AGAINST ADVERSE EFFECTS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract: Present days globalization is civilization „super trend” which dominates in world economy. Its influence over society as a whole and environment we can divided into two groups. We should distinguish between positive and negative effects of the process. As far as mankind and environment is concerned, the negative effects of globalization are noticeable. Corporate Social Using is an instrument of defense against adverse effects of globalization has been observed. (according to: K. A. Klosinski, A. Maslowski, 2005, p.17). The article sheds some light on how introducing new rules of CSR protects us from harmful result of globalization and shows benefits of using them. The content indicates necessity to use Corporate Social Responsibility by entrepreneurs. The incentive to write the article were noticeable relations between process of globalization and CSR. The relations were observed during analysis of world economy and the literature of the subject. The article is based on national and external literature of CSR and Globalization with emphasizing relations.
