Abstract:
A través de este paper realizamos un recorrido rápido e introductorio sobre los elementos más importantes de la Nueva Geografía Económica, destacando el concepto general sobre el que se sustenta la rama, un pequeño repaso histórico y la concepción de una competencia imperfecta sobre la que desarrollar el modelo de competencia espacial. Through this paper we make a quick, introductory course on the most important elements of the New Economic Geography, emphasizing the underlying concepts, a small historical perspective and the explanation of the conception of imperfect competition on which we have to develop the model of spatial competition.
