Abstract: The paper investigated the current state of higher (business) education in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The research methodology is based on the processing of secondary data, which allows a preliminary analysis of the problems of the education system. The authors give an estimate of the current system of business education in Kazakhstan. The authors conclude that the education system of Kazakhstan is currently under development, competitiveness of the economy largely depends on the quality of education and further growth is impossible without well-educated and trained personnel.
